Welcome offers

With our Welcome Offers, we invite people with refugee status to visit the Kunsthalle in groups. These offers are free of charge, open to people of all ages and, on request, can be accompanied by interpreters. Please register your group in advance.

Welcome Tours

We invite you to our free Welcome Tours through the Hamburger Kunsthalle. The guided tours are for groups with refugees of all ages.

An expert will guide you through the museum’s exhibitions and provide information on important works of art from eight centuries. You will hear interesting stories and learn a lot about different artists and their works of art.

During the tour, we all share our thoughts on art. You are welcome to ask questions. With some artworks, you can try out something new yourself. We offer activities for different age groups.

Groups of eight or more can book a Welcome Tour. These tours are offered in German and English. An interpreter can also translate for you into the following languages: Ukrainian, Russian, Farsi and Arabic.
Please inform us which language you require when registering. 
If this is possible, we will arrange for the desired language.

Welcome Workshops

We invite you to our free Welcome Workshops at the Hamburger Kunsthalle. The workshops are for groups with refugees of all ages. In the workshop, you can experiment with different materials to make your own art.

In our Welcome Workshop, you will first get to know the collection of the Hamburger Kunsthalle. You will see art from eight centuries.

Then you can get active yourself. In our working space, we talk about important questions in art, try out different materials and create our own works of art. We offer activities for different age groups.

Groups of eight or more people can book a Welcome Workshop. We offer the Welcome Workshops in German and English. An interpreter can also translate for you in the following languages: Ukrainian, Russian, Farsi and Arabic.
