A free offer for refugees of all ages and accompanying persons

This offer is meant as a warm welcome to Hamburg and invites you to join us on a one-hour exhibition tour through the permanent collection of the Hamburger Kunsthalle. You will be accompanied by our art educators, who will be happy to discuss individual works of art with you and provide interesting and exciting stories, along with background information.

The museum tours can only be booked as a group/for groups. 

The welcome tours take place in German or English and, on request, are translated into Ukrainian, Russian, Farsi or Arabic. We will also try to make other language requests possible. In this regard, please get in touch with us.

Please register your group with Customer Relations at least two weeks before the visit, stating the number of participants (8 - 25 people) as well as the age and origin of the participants.

If possible, please look for a suitable date on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday with your group, as these dates can be booked more reliably by the Hamburger Kunsthalle.

Please state your language preference in your booking enquiry and we will try to make it possible.

You can also book a welcome workshop privately as a group of refugees free of charge and individually. Please register your group with the subject Welcome Workshop, stating the number of participants (8 - 25 people) and the age and origin of the participants.

You can book a welcome workshop in German or English and - if desired - have it translated into Ukrainian, Russian, Farsi or Arabic. Please let us know your language preference when booking and we will endeavour to make this possible for you.
